Pink Floyd’s masterpiece [Animals] is back with a new remix after 45 years! A full-body remix from the original master tapes by James Guthrie, who is in charge of Pink Floyd’s sound. The best possible form, the best sound, and the iconic artwork of a pig flying over Battersea Power Station have been completely renewed, and it has been completely reborn. It was scheduled to be released in 2018, but due to various circumstances it was shelved, and will finally be released in 2022, the 45th anniversary. [Animals] is a concept album that sharply criticizes social issues while replacing the human world with animals. The design of the jacket, in which a pig that appeared in the song and later became one of the band’s icons flies over Battersea Power Station on the River Thames in London, is so famous. It was a hit, reaching No. 2 in the UK charts and No. 3 in the US. The Japanese version CD is a Sony Shizuoka factory press CD, which James Guthrie listened to the test pressing and approved of the sound. The LP is a limited edition imported domestic version (with a newly designed obi and gatefold sleeve).
