The RCA Oyaide PH-01RR cable is a low capacitance Phono cable for VM / MM cell boards. It takes advantage of an exceptional design to ensure a stable signal and faithful reproduction.
Optimized Capacitance
On turntables, the balance tends to change depending on the capacitance between the output of the cell and the input of the phono amplifier. By using a cable with a capacitance higher than the recommended value for the cell, the high frequencies are attenuated and the performance of the cell cannot be fully demonstrated. With a low capacitance cable like the PH01-RR, the capacitance is optimized in order to transmit perfectly the signal of your disk, in a faithful way, without modifying the bandwidth.
102 SSC Conductor
The cable conductor is undoubtedly one of the most important points when seeking audio quality and fidelity. Thus, Oyaide integrates in its cables its own 102 SSC conductor, recognized in the audiophile world.
To design this conductor, Oyaide works to remove 100% of the impurities on the surface of the copper wire and uses the most advanced technologies. The quality control is carried out with a margin of error of 1µm.
Signal cable
The signal cable incorporates a single shielded core, capacitance reduction is achieved by adjusting the distance between the conductor and the shield. XLPE is used here as insulation for its low electrical capacity but also for its mechanical resistance. Thus, even if the cable is bent, the Signal / Shield distance remains constant, ensuring stable signal transmission. The PVC sheath protects the cable and gives it greater flexibility. On the connectors side, there are 24K gold plated RCAs on both sides.
The electrostatic capacity increases proportionally with the length of the cable, this product does not support extensions.
Ground cable
As with the RCA cable, the ground cable uses 102 SSC Copper for its conductors. On either side of the cable are OFC Copper Y rug with 24K Gold plating. This provides very good transmission performance and a stable ground connection.
